Aftershokz has now been rebranded to Shokz - shorter, easier, and more catchy than before!

At Crooze you can find a wide range of Shokz headphones that will fit your exercise needs. Whether it be running, cycling, or workout in the gym, these wireless headphones will fit comfortably and securely through it all.

The best part about these earphones is that they are designed with bone conduction, making them sit above your ear instead of inside them. That way, you receive music through your cheekbones, making it possible to listen to music and be aware of everything going around you when exercising.

We want your workout to be fun but as safe!

Choose between these unique open ear designs:

SHOKZ OpenRun Wireless Bluetooth Headphones are the most premium and light-weighted Shokz earphones on the market. The open ear music device comes with the new PremiumPitch 2.0+ which offers better bass and enhances sound quality. The tech also reduces vibrations and sound leakage. So you get the clearest of sounds.

OpenRun lasts for up to 8 hours and is IP67 waterproof rated, resisting sweat and moisture with no problem. These are also available in a MINI version - Shokz OpenRun MINI Wireless Bluetooth Headphones - which have a smaller head circumference band.

Shokz headset designed to listen

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Aftershokz and Shokz the same?

Yes. Aftershokz has been rebranded to Shokz to simplify the name. The new name, Shokz, is shorter, easier and super catchy.

Is Aftershokz worth it?

This all depends on what you are looking for. We highly recommend Aftershokz to people who go cycling or running along the road, or people taking calls at their worksites. Because in those situations you want to be able to hear your music, or phone call, as well as be aware of what is going on around you.
However, if you are looking for wireless earphones that totally cancel out noise these might not be the best choice for you.

Can bone conduction headphones damage your hearing?

Open ear headphones are safer than traditional earbuds due to their cheekbone-ear design. As Shokz are positioned outside the ear and not as close to the eardrums they have less chance of causing hearing damage than earbuds. However, the ears are delicate matters, and even with bone conduction headphones, you can experience damage to your hearing if music is played too high and over long periods of time.

Are Shokz better for your ears?

Yes. Earbuds that sit inside your ears are closer to the eardrums and if overused or you play the music too loud, it can cause damage to your eardrums and lead to hearing loss.

Meanwhile, the Shokz headphones sit outside your ears, along your cheekbones, offering less strain on the eardrums.

Which Aftershokz has the best sound quality?

The wireless headphones either come with PremiumPitch 2.0 technology, LeakSlayer or EQ Presets which offer excellent sound quality as well as reducing natural sound leakage. However, if we had to choose one, we would say Aftershokz Aeropex Wireless Bluetooth Headphones. These workout headphones are best overall with its PremiumPitch 2.0+ and angle design, providing you with louder music and less vibration.

Can you wear sunglasses with my Shokz?

Yes, you can! We suggest fastening your headset first and then positioning your sunglasses above the band.

Can other people hear your music?

Normally no, but it is not impossible. For that to happen you would have to be playing the music very loud and the other person would have to stand very close to you.

What are bone conduction headphones like to use?

They sit super comfortable over the ears and the sounds are clear even though they do not sit inside the ear. Some come with a microphone so you can also take calls when wearing them. As they sit outside the ear they do not strain your ear as much as earbuds and are perfect for when you need to focus on both your surroundings and sound.

Do Shokz bone conduction headphones work underwater?

The only open ear headset that works for swimming is the Shokz OpenSwim Waterproof Headphones.

What are the best headphones/earbuds for running?

Shokz OpenRun. This headset is compact and lighter than its predecessor. It lasts for up to 8 hours, and has a waterproof rating of IP67, meaning it can handle sweat and moisture. It sits securely and comfortably on the head when running, and offers incredible clear sounds due to its PremiumPitch 2.0+ tech.
