A pack of four makes replacing worn or broken links a simple task, so you can be back on your bike in no time at all.

The Chain Force D1 12-Speed Chain comes with a subtle, but notable difference. The flattop technology enables a narrower chain with quieter operation as well as increased strength and durability. Inner and outer plates are hard chrome plated for faster and more precise shifting.

If you're looking for the very best, you've come to the right place. These cables are made from high-quality material and feature HollowPin technology which delivers superior shifting while being lightweight. Frequently Asked Questions

Are SRAM and Shimano cassettes interchangeable?

In some cases, you may be able to use a cassette from a different manufacturer than the rest of your drivetrain. SRAM and Shimano cassettes are interchangeable on both road and mountain bikes because the sprocket spacing is the same.

Are SRAM and Shimano 12-speed cassettes interchangeable?

Technically, an SRAM cassette can be used with a Shimano 12-speed chain. However, the combination does not provide the advantages that Shimano's 12-speed drivetrains do. What exactly is this? Shimano 12-speed chains and cassettes are designed to work together to optimize shifting under load.

Are Shimano and SRAM components compatible?

11-speed transmissions necessitate 11-speed chains. Shimano and SRAM 11-speed chains are interchangeable. A Shimano 11-speed drivetrain will work with an SRAM chain, and vice versa; however, manufacturers recommend pairing your components for optimal performance.

Can I use a Shimano chain on an SRAM Eagle cassette?

EAGLE chains are not completely interchangeable with Shimano drivetrains.

Can I use an 11-speed derailleur on a 10-speed cassette?

Shimano's 11-speed derailleurs have a different rear shift ratio than 10-speed derailleurs and thus cannot be used with 10-speed indexed shifters.

Is there a difference between SRAM and Shimano chains?

The inner links of the Shimano chain are so long that the chain binds to a Sram chain ring and the cassette's 50t "Eagle" gear. You can get away with a new Shimano chain on used Sram sprockets, but the compatibility is less than ideal.
