EFFETTO CAFFELATEX TUBELESS STRIP FAT L 26" / 27.5" (PAIR)

Caffélatex Tubeless Strip Plus/Fat is an ultra-lightweight, puncture-resistant and transparent tubeless rim strip designed to make tubeless conversions fast and straightforward. It enables easy conversion of most Plus and Fat mountain bike wheels when used with Tubeless or Tubeless-Ready tyres, together with Caffélatex or Végétalex sealant.

CHARACTERISTICS

Tubeless conversion, made easy – Caffélatex Strip is the ultimate solution for rims that are notoriously difficult to seal. It’s ideal for challenging applications such as cut-out Fat rims, aluminum rims with matte surface finishes, carbon rims treated with mould release agents (where traditional tape struggles to adhere), rims with very deep channels, or pin-joined rims that aren’t welded at the seam.

Unlike tubeless tape, Strip does not rely on adhesive. It’s manufactured as a single, elastic piece that fits snugly into the rim channel, using its natural tension to stay securely in place.

Please note: Strip is not compatible with asymmetric rims that feature an off-center valve hole

Highly resistant to damage and punctures: The advanced polymer used in Strip’s construction provides outstanding durability and puncture resistance. It is chemically stable and will not be affected by Caffélatex or other non-aggressive tyre sealants.

WARNING: Sealants containing aggressive chemicals or ammonia, as well as harsh chemical cleaning agents used on the rim, can damage Caffélatex Tubeless Strip and may pose safety risks. Effetto Mariposa recommends using only Caffélatex or Végétalex sealant, or Espresso / Espresso Doppio inflate & repair cartridges, with Caffélatex Tubeless Strip.

Reusable and transferable: Unlike traditional tubeless tapes, Strip can be moved from one rim to another. Thanks to its durable material, its lifespan can often exceed that of the rim it was originally installed on. It can be removed and reinstalled on a different rim, or taken off and refitted to the same rim if spoke maintenance or replacement is required.
