The angular-contact headset bearing is equipped with anti-corrosion Black Oxide/Magnetite coated 52100 High-Carbon Chromium alloy races paired with grade 10 Balls. The Black Oxide coating heightens corrosion resistance and extends worry-free performance.
The Enduro line of angular-contact headset bearings commences with Black Oxide treated Chromium Steel races, progresses to full 440C stainless steel, and culminates in the top-tier, lifetime-guaranteed XD-15 aerospace-stainless (including races and balls). These bearings are consistently designed with the largest possible balls, incorporate dual-lip seals riding within a micro-groove (labyrinth), and are filled to 90% capacity with high-pressure waterproof grease for the ultimate protection against sweat and environmental elements. Enduro Angular Contact (A/C) bearings are specifically engineered to ensure even engagement of all balls, effectively distributing force over a larger surface area, thereby minimizing wear and maximizing the bearings' lifespan.
