Designed specifically as a rear tyre for varied terrains, the Continental Kryptotal-R Downhill Soft 27.5x2.40 features a Downhill casing with a double-ply carcass and an APEX layer to guard against snake bites, delivering exceptional durability within the Gravity range. Ideal for Downhill, Freeride, Super Enduro, and demanding Enduro bikes with 170-200mm suspension travel, it uses a soft Black Chilli compound to expertly balance grip and rolling efficiency. Its construction includes six carcass layers beneath the tread for enhanced puncture resistance, complemented by four layers for flexibility. Additional reinforcements include a cross-woven chafer textile, tubeless-ready foldable Aramid bead, and a 110 TPI casing, all weighing 1220g.
