The Candy Lace features a stiff, fibre-reinforced nylon shank for efficient power transfer, paired with a minimalist synthetic upper, a vibration-absorbing EVA insole, and a relaxed fit to provide all-day comfort.
Crank Brothers' innovative Match System optimizes engagement with their clip-in pedals, while the extended 35mm cleat track maintains compatibility with other common clip-in pedals. Note that cleats are not included with the Candy Lace shoes, so remember to add a fresh set for your clip-in system of choice!
Premium Materials and Construction
The Candy Lave shoe has a premium synthetic upper that is made from durable, water-resistant materials, and includes perforations for improved breathability. The traditional lace closure system with lace retention sleeps to keep your foot comfortable and secure.
Optimized Pedal Interface
The stiff, fibre-reinforced nylon shank helps improve the transfer of power while the 35mm cleat track allows for customised cleat position on the shoe. The cleat box depth is carefully chosen to allow for optimal shoe-to-pedal contact.
Adventure-Ready Outsole
The MC1 rubber outsole provides full coverage while the directionally-angled toe and heel lugs offer traction for any terrain. The curved outsole and ramped toe profile allow for a natural stride off the bike. The anti-slip zone in the mid-foot improves stability while unclipped from your bike.
Toe Protection
The TPU-reinforced tow boz combined with the raised outsole at the front of the shoe provide critical protection against impacts.
