Build lasting confidence with The Lite, taking full advantage of wood's familiar warmth and tactile qualities to help even the littlest riders build a lifelong love of bikes. With a low standover height of 30cm, the Lite is designed to put the smallest riders safely on two wheels. The lightweight frame makes it easy for young children to manoeuvre, whilst the classic design grows with your child's developing skills and sense of style.

Meet The Lite

Proving wooden bikes can be innovative, they can be durable and they can easily ignite a lifelong passion for bikes. Crafted from marine-grade Super Ply, The Lite is resistant to rot, warping, and decay. Its two-step steering system aids safe skill progression while heat-branded detailing, vegan leather seats, and hardened brass bolts ensure durability. Lightweight aluminium rims and wide tyres provide stability and comfort for 2–4-year-olds. The Lite is sustainably designed to inspire, endure and draw just a bit of awe.

Not all wooden bikes are built the same

Marine-grade Super Ply—the material used on boats, docks and outdoor furniture built to last a lifetime. We choose it for The Lite because bikes this good deserve to be passed down. It's brilliantly versatile, resistant to warping and shrinkage, rot-proof and decay-resistant. With a solid core and no hidden voids, it maintains structural integrity through years of riding. On the surface, it's a simple wooden bike. To us, it's engineered for generations.

Weather proof, boil proof

We don't advocate for boiling your bike, but we've built it to withstand every eventuality. The Lite uses WBP glue—Weather and Boil Proof—to bond its frame, keeping water out regardless of temperature. This matters in wet, humid climates where moisture can compromise wood in months. The glue also resists fungus and mould growth, extending your bike's lifespan through Australian weather. Life happens. Bikes occasionally get left outside. That shouldn't mean the end of them.

Two step steering system

Two-step steering helps new riders learn safely without inhibiting their progress. In Step 1, restricted steering prevents beginners from oversteering, falling and losing confidence before they've started. Once they've mastered the basics, release the steering for unrestricted control and adventure. Like all the best innovations, it's stunningly simple.

Useful, beautiful, durable details

Everything on The Lite is designed to endure—there isn't a feature, enhancement or detail that doesn't serve a purpose. The flame detail is heat-branded because stickers peel off. The vegan leather seat is embroidered because print gets flaky and faded over time. We use hardened brass with its deep rusty patina because it's more long-wearing than regular brass. Useful, beautiful, durable. That's our motto and we're sticking to it.

Roll model

The Lite features market-leading aluminium rims and hubs to minimise weight, paired with high-grade ABEC sealed cartridge bearings that reduce rolling resistance. By investing in premium wheel sets, we can specify tyres that deliver the safety and performance young riders need—without adding unnecessary weight that would slow them down.

Tread carefully

The Lite runs fast-rolling 1.75" wide tyres to give 2–4-year-olds the stability they need to learn, the air volume for comfort and the grip to tackle mixed terrain confidently, even in the rain. Because there's no such thing as the wrong weather. Only the wrong bike.

Sustain-Ability™

Cutting down trees to make bikes isn't sustainable. Kids' bikes are often unable to last even one child. Our solution is simple: a design and manufacturing mandate to 'sustain ability'. We build bikes designed to last, child after child, with uncompromising focus on form, function and quality parts. We also sustain the ability of everyone involved in production to live healthy, fulfilled lives—creating safe work environments, promoting wellness, supporting communities and upholding human rights throughout our entire supply chain.
