6804 LLU MAX BOSL - Solid-Lube, MAX-Design, Black-Oxide, Radial Suspension Bearing - 20 x 32 x 7mm

Over two decades ago, Enduro Bearings led the way with MAX-type bearings in the bicycling realm, specifically tailored to tackle the challenges inherent in mountain bike pivots. These MAX-type bearings boast a 35-40% higher load capacity compared to standard radial bearings. Achieving this capacity involves a specialized design that incorporates the maximum number of balls fitted into the bearing through a bespoke ground slot in the races. Additionally, the inclusion of extra balls, coupled with the deep race grooves, fortifies these bearings, providing enhanced lateral support to counteract the twisting and multi-directional forces typically encountered in mountain bike pivots.

Crafted as a MAX-type, the Black-Oxide, ABEC-3 bearing showcases deep-groove design races, Grade 10 balls, and full-contact, double-lip, labyrinth (LLU) seals. These features serve to offer maximum safeguarding against environmental elements while preserving the 90% fill of Almagard extra high-pressure grease inside. Further enhancing its durability, the Black-Oxide/Magnetite coating endows an added level of corrosion resistance, ensuring extended and worry-free performance.

Numerous prominent bicycle brands, including Orbea, have adopted this bearing as a suspension pivot bearing.

In the Enduro product line, these bearings are offered in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 variations, with ceramic or stainless balls. Each bearing is meticulously engineered with the deepest possible groove races to accommodate the largest balls, along with dual-lip seals maneuvering within a micro-groove, constructing a comprehensive labyrinth for exceptional longevity and superior protection against environmental factors.
