These MAX-type bearings elevate load capacity by an impressive 35-40% compared to standard radial bearings. This advancement is achieved through a specialized design that maximizes ball insertion into the bearing, facilitated by a custom ground slot in the races. The additional balls, coupled with deep race grooves, offer heightened lateral support, effectively managing the twisting and multi-directional forces inherent in mountain bike pivots.
The ABEC-3 bearing within this range showcases deep-groove design races, grade 10 balls, and full-contact, double-lip, labyrinth (LLU) seals, ensuring maximum defence against environmental elements while retaining a 90% fill of Almagard extra high-pressure grease inside.
