Enduro Bearings introduced MAX-type bearings for bicycles over two decades ago, aiming to tackle the challenges associated with mountain bike pivots. These MAX-type bearings deliver a notable 35-40% increase in load capacity compared to standard radial bearings. Achieving this involves a special design where the maximum number of balls are precisely inserted into the bearing through a custom ground slot in the races. The added balls, combined with deep race grooves, significantly enhance lateral support, effectively managing the twisting and multi-directional forces characteristic of mountain bike pivots.
The ABEC-3 bearing within this range features deep-groove design races, grade 10 balls, and full-contact, double-lip, labyrinth (LLU) seals, ensuring maximum protection against environmental elements while retaining a 90% fill of Almagard extra high-pressure grease inside.

Enduro's line of bearings encompasses variations in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless balls.
