698 LLU MAX-E - MAX-Design, Extended Inner Race, ABEC-3 Radial Suspension Bearing - 8 x 19 x 6/7.5mm

Over two decades ago, Enduro Bearings introduced the groundbreaking MAX-type bearings specifically designed for bicycles, aiming to tackle the challenges linked to mountain bike pivots. These MAX-type bearings offer a remarkable 35-40% increase in load capacity compared to standard radial bearings. Achieving this elevated load capacity involves a specialized design where the maximum number of balls are inserted into the bearing. By adding extra balls and implementing deep race grooves, these bearings offer heightened lateral support, effectively managing the twisting and multi-directional forces associated with mountain bike pivots.

This ABEC-3 bearing is equipped with deep-groove design races, Grade 10 balls, and full-contact, double-lip, labyrinth (LLU) seals, ensuring maximum protection against external elements. It retains a 90% fill of Almagard extra high-pressure grease, maintaining optimal functionality. Moreover, this bearing features an extended inner race that eliminates the necessity for additional spacers to connect suspension linkages.

Various notable bicycle brands, including Yeti and Atherton, have employed this bearing as a suspension pivot bearing.

Enduro's line of bearings offers a variety of options, available in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless balls. Our bearings are always engineered with the deepest groove races possible to accommodate the largest balls, and they feature dual-lip seals that glide in micro-grooves, creating a complete labyrinth, ensuring superior protection against the elements.
