71001 LLB - ABEC-5 Angular-Contact Bearing (C3 Clearance) - 12 x 28 x 8mm

An Angular-Contact bearing is typically utilized as a hub bearing for specific quick-release hub designs and can also function as a pivot bearing. However, the MAX-type version of this bearing is better suited for suspension applications. This ABEC-5 bearing features deep-groove design races, grade 10 balls, and LLB seals, and is filled with 90% high-pressure waterproof grease, ensuring durability against daily use and the elements. When correctly installed (with the black seal facing in) and adjusted, Enduro Angular Contact (A/C) bearings engage all of the bearing's balls, distributing force over a larger surface area, thereby reducing wear and extending bearing life.

The Enduro bearing series is available in various materials including high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless balls. Our bearings are meticulously engineered with the deepest groove races feasible to accommodate the largest balls and incorporate dual-lip seals that navigate within micro-grooves, creating a comprehensive labyrinth, and offering superior protection against external elements.
