The Angular-Contact bearing serves as a hub bearing and can also function as a pivot bearing, although the MAX-type variant is more suitable for suspension applications. This ABEC-5 bearing comprises deep-groove design races with grade 10 balls, LLB seals, and 90% fill of high-pressure waterproof grease, ensuring durability against daily usage and environmental elements. Properly installed with the black seal facing in and appropriately adjusted, Enduro Angular Contact (A/C) bearings distribute force across all the bearing's balls, reducing friction, minimizing wear, and extending bearing lifespan.
Within the Enduro bearings range, options include high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless balls. Each bearing is meticulously engineered with the deepest groove races feasible, allowing accommodation of larger balls, while the dual-lip seals navigate a micro-groove formation to create a comprehensive labyrinth, offering superior protection against external elements.
