7900 2RS MAX - Angular-Contact, MAX-Type, ABEC-3 Radial Suspension Bearing - 10 x 22 x 6mm

Enduro Bearings introduced the groundbreaking MAX-type bearings two decades ago, specifically tailored for bicycles to tackle the complexities linked with mountain bike pivots. These MAX-type bearings elevate load capacity by an impressive 35-40% compared to standard radial bearings. This is achieved by a unique engineering approach, where the bearings employ a specialized design inserting the maximum number of balls into the bearing via a custom ground slot in the races. With the addition of extra balls and deep race grooves, these bearings offer heightened lateral support, effectively managing the twisting and multi-directional forces intrinsic to mountain bike pivots.

Manufactured to ABEC-3 standards, these bearings feature deep-groove design races housing Grade 10 balls and are filled with a 90% concentration of Almagard extra high-pressure grease. Upon correct installation and adjustment, Enduro Angular Contact (A/C) bearings ensure the engagement of all the bearing's balls, thereby distributing force across a larger surface area. This reduces friction, limits wear, and significantly extends the bearing's longevity.

The single seal specification is particularly optimized for applications utilizing grease injection systems, such as those typically present in the linkages of various Santa Cruz bikes.

Enduro offers a comprehensive range of bearings available in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 variants, featuring ceramic or stainless balls. Each Enduro bearing is meticulously engineered, incorporating the deepest groove races feasible to accommodate larger balls. Moreover, these bearings come with dual-lip seals that operate within micro-grooves, forming an effective labyrinth, ensuring superior protection against the elements and promising prolonged durability and performance.
