Enduro Bearings introduced MAX-type bearings over two decades ago, specifically tailored for bicycles to tackle the challenges linked with mountain bike pivots. These MAX-type bearings elevate load capacity by 35-40% compared to standard radial bearings. This is achieved through a unique design that maximizes the number of balls inserted into the bearing. Alongside deep race grooves, these additional balls offer enhanced lateral support, effectively handling the twisting and multi-directional forces inherent in mountain bike pivots. This ABEC-3 bearing boasts races with a deep-groove design, Grade 10 balls, and double-lip, labyrinth (LLU) seals for ultimate protection against environmental elements. It retains a 90% fill of Almagard extra high-pressure grease. Unlike other 541 bearings, this Flush version doesn't include extended inner races.

This bearing has previously served as a suspension pivot bearing for Foes.
