Grade 5 balls are exceptionally round, surpassing the 5/1,000,000" tolerance of sphericity. Their precision is such that races cannot be ground to match this level of accuracy. These balls are the same grade found in Enduro ABEC-5 bearings. Just a few years ago, Grade 25 was considered a premium-grade ball, reserved for the highest-quality hubs and bottom brackets. However, today, Enduro's entry-level ABEC-3 bearings come with Grade 10 balls, with Grade 5 or Grade 3 options available for higher levels of price and performance.
