Enduro's basic BB bearing kit offers exceptional value beyond typical options. It combines ABEC-3 radial bearings with all required seals and spacers to ensure an accurate, professional-level installation. The press-fit design includes a drive-side bearing tailored with an extended inner race and 22mm and 24mm outer seals, effectively protecting against contamination and enhancing durability.
This is a unique custom bearing kit that is not used a lot, but when you need it, its a major problem solver.
Trek BB90 bottom brackets demand that the bearing be pressed directly into the BB shell, typically constructed from softer materials like carbon or aluminum. Over time, the bearing seat may become marginally oversized due to wear. To address this, the custom replacement bearings included in this kit are intentionally made slightly oversized by 0.1mm to offset any looseness that may have formed in the BB shell.
Enduro ABEC-3 bearings are precision-engineered for bicycles, featuring 52100 High-Carbon Chromium alloy races combined with grade 10 balls. Equipped with LLB seals and filled with 90% high-pressure, waterproof grease, these radial bearings feature deep grooves designed to fit the largest balls possible. This maximizes contact area, significantly enhancing bearing durability and lifespan.
For efficient removal and installation of this bearing kit, we recommend using the BRT-003 24mm x 37mm bearing tool. The BRT-003 enables swift bearing changes with minimal effort, allowing you to work while the bottom bracket remains in the bike.
