Crafted with precision from Delrin®, these derailleur pulleys incorporate XD-15 Ceramic-Hybrid radial bearings to improve shifting smoothness and durability. Engineered for high performance, the upper pulley utilizes CN (tight clearance) bearings to optimize shifting precision, while the lower pulley employs C4 (loose clearance) bearings to accommodate chain-line flexibility.
Constructed from 500 AF Delrin® infused with Teflon®, these pulleys exhibit exceptional mechanical tensile strength and rigidity, combined with natural lubricity. Their resistance to moisture, caustic chemicals, and UV exposure ensures long-lasting durability and smooth operation. The material’s ability to machine precisely allows for clean, accurate production. Compared to aluminum or titanium pulleys, these Delrin® pulleys significantly reduce friction and drag when interacting with the bicycle chain.
Exclusively from Enduro Bearings, the XD-15 Ceramic-Hybrid bearings feature corrosion-resistant, cryogenically treated nitrogen steel races combined with Grade 3 Silicon Nitride ceramic balls through a proprietary manufacturing process, delivering top-tier performance. The deep-groove raceways accommodate larger ceramic balls, increasing contact area for enhanced durability and efficiency. Filled with 90% Kluber NBU52 grease, these bearings run smoother over time and resist washout by adhering to the balls and continuously returning to the raceway. Designed with an 11-tooth profile and 5mm bolt holes, they serve as a precise upgrade for most 11-speed Shimano Dura Ace and Ultegra derailleurs.
