The TorqTite BB by Enduro features an innovative design with Angular Contact stainless steel bearings housed within precision-machined aluminum cups that thread together inside the bottom bracket shell. This system enables a straightforward, secure, and creak-free fit for any non-threaded bottom bracket shell. Manufactured to exacting standards at Enduro Bearings' facility in California, this bottom bracket ensures reliable performance and durability.
This complete bottom bracket utilizes Angular Contact bearings with 440C stainless steel balls and races, delivering extended durability and excellent resistance to corrosion in challenging conditions. While stainless steel offers about 20% less load capacity and is slightly softer than the standard 52100 chromium steel found in most of our bearings, it remains a superior choice for wet environments, frequent bike cleaning, or exposure to sweat. The bearings are also equipped with LLB seals and CRC Marine Grease to enhance waterproofing. Confident in their durability, Enduro backs these bearings with a three-year anti-corrosion warranty.
Selecting the appropriate bottom bracket for the diverse range of bicycles available can be challenging. Enduro offers over 50 distinct bottom bracket models designed to accommodate various shell and crankset combinations across multiple performance and price points. Our lineup includes threaded options for BSA, BSA 30, Italian, and the sturdy T47 systems. For press-fit applications, we developed the widely emulated, thread-together TorqTite bottom brackets alongside press-fit Delrin cup versions.
