The TorqTite BB by Enduro is a pioneering design featuring angular contact stainless steel bearings mounted within precisely engineered aluminum cups that thread directly into the bottom bracket shell. This setup ensures an easy, reliable, and noiseless fit in any non-threaded bottom bracket shell. Crafted to exacting standards at Enduro Bearings' California facility, this bottom bracket exemplifies quality and durability.
This complete bottom bracket incorporates angular contact bearings with 440C stainless steel balls and races, ensuring extended durability and excellent resistance to corrosion in demanding conditions. Although stainless steel has slightly lower load capacity and is softer than 52100 chromium steel, it performs exceptionally well in wet environments, frequent bike washes, or when exposed to sweat. Featuring LLB seals and CRC Marine Grease, these bearings offer superior waterproofing. Backed by a three-year anti-corrosion guarantee, Enduro guarantees both the longevity and reliability of this component.
