The TorqTite bottom bracket by Enduro is an innovative solution featuring angular contact stainless steel bearings housed within precisely machined aluminum TorqTite cups. These cups thread together smoothly inside any non-threaded bottom bracket shell, ensuring a straightforward, secure, and creak-free fit. Crafted to exacting standards at Enduro Bearings' facility in California, this bottom bracket exemplifies quality and durability.
This bottom bracket is equipped with Angular Contact 440C stainless steel balls and races, delivering enhanced durability and exceptional resistance to corrosion in challenging environments. While stainless steel offers about 20% less load capacity and is slightly softer compared to Enduro’s standard 52100 chromium steel, it remains an excellent choice for wet conditions, frequent bike washing, or exposure to sweat. The use of LLB seals and CRC Marine Grease further enhances water resistance. Backed by a three-year anti-corrosion warranty, these bearings demonstrate Enduro’s commitment to quality and performance.
