Building on the capabilities of the BRT-060 and BRT-050 bearing presses, this kit enables precise removal and installation of bottom bracket and hub bearings. By employing the nut and threaded rod from the bearing press, it carefully presses bearings out of their components, making it especially suitable for reusable bearings such as stainless steel and XD15. This allows for repeated cleaning and maintenance when bearings become contaminated or coarse, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
This kit includes cups, guides, and pullers designed for the removal and installation of a wide range of bottom bracket and hub bearings, when paired with the BRT-060 or BRT-050 bearing presses. The receiver cups for hub bearing removal are specifically intended for hubs equipped with axle stops. Many components in this toolkit are cross-compatible with the BRT-003 24mm BB press tool, overlapping the functions of the BRT-002 (30mm BB) and BRT-016 (29mm DUB BB) tools, providing versatile service options for various bearing sizes and standards.
