This ABEC-5 bearing incorporates a deep-groove design featuring 52100 High-Carbon chromium alloy races and grade 5 Silicon-Nitride Ceramic balls. The dual-lip labyrinth (LLB) seals provide protection against external elements, while the 90% fill of Mobilux NGLI 2 high pressure synthetic grease ensures waterproofing. The incorporation of Si3N4 ceramic balls minimizes bearing wear and prolongs bearing life by eliminating steel-on-steel contact within the bearing.

This radial bearing is commonly utilized as a hub bearing in quick-release hub configurations, as well as in pedal and pivot bearing applications. However, it is recommended that the MAX-type version of this bearing be used for suspension purposes.
