This ABEC-5, Ceramic-hybrid bearing is constructed with precision 52100 High-Carbon chromium alloy races using a deep-groove design. It also utilizes grade 5 Silicon-Nitride Ceramic balls, dual-lip labyrinth (LLB) seals to protect against external elements, and 90% fill of Mobilux NGLI 2 high pressure water proof synthetic grease. The use of Si3N4 ceramic balls prevents bearing wear and extends bearing longevity by eliminating steel on steel contact within the bearing.
This radial bearing is often utilized as a hub bearing, and can also function as a pivot bearing, though the MAX-type version is more suitable for suspension purposes.
Our bearings are available in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 variants with either ceramic or stainless balls. Enduro's bearings are designed with deep groove races to fit the largest possible balls and come equipped with dual-lip seals that sit in a micro-groove, forming a complete labyrinth for ultimate protection against environmental elements.
