This ABEC-5 Ceramic-hybrid bearing combines deep-groove design with 52100 High-Carbon chromium alloy races and grade 5 Silicon-Nitride Ceramic balls. Protected by dual-lip labyrinth (LLB) seals, it effectively shields against environmental contaminants while retaining its 90% fill of Mobilux NGLI 2 high-pressure waterproof synthetic grease. The Si3N4 Ceramic ball configuration significantly extends bearing lifespan by eliminating metal-on-metal contact within the bearing assembly.
Primarily designed as a hub bearing, this radial component can function as a pivot bearing, though the MAX-type variant is superior for suspension applications. Enduro bearings are manufactured in multiple material options: high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless balls. Each bearing features maximized groove depth to accommodate larger balls, while innovative dual-lip seals positioned in micro-grooves create a complete labyrinth system, delivering exceptional protection against environmental contamination.
