This Ceramic-Hybrid Radial Bottom Bracket Bearing features 52100 high-carbon chromium steel races paired with Grade 5 Silicon-Nitride (Si₃N₄) ceramic balls, packed to 90% with high-pressure, waterproof grease. The ceramic balls reduce steel-on-steel contact, minimizing wear and extending bearing life.
This bearing is most commonly used as a direct replacement for Shimano external cup bottom brackets.
