The Enduro Zero bearing is a Ceramic-Hybrid, ABEC-5 radial bearing. It contains black-oxide treated 52100 High-Carbon Chromium alloy races, which are matched with Grade 5 Silicon-Nitride Ceramic Balls that have a 90% fill. Our Sk3N4 ceramic balls are designed to reduce wear and increase the bearing's lifespan by eliminating steel-on-steel contact. The races have been treated with black oxide/magnetite to provide extra resistance to corrosion and ensure long-lasting performance. Our VV seals are the lightest contact design, allowing for the fastest spinning bearing in our line. While they are not as protective against the elements as our LLB or LLU type seals, they still provide excellent performance.
As a versatile component, the radial bearing serves not only as a hub bearing, but also as a pivot bearing. However, for suspension purposes, the MAX-type version of this bearing is more advantageous.
The Enduro bearing line includes various options such as high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless balls. Our bearings are meticulously designed with deep groove races to accommodate large balls and are equipped with dual-lip seals that sit in a micro-groove, forming a complete labyrinth for optimal protection against external elements.
