Enduro Bearings presents the XD-15 Ceramic-Hybrid bearings, featuring corrosion-resistant, cryogenically treated nitrogen steel races paired with Grade 3 Silicon Nitride ceramic balls through a specialized manufacturing process for superior performance. The deep-groove raceways accommodate larger ceramic balls, enhancing contact area for better durability and efficiency. Filled with 90% Kluber NBU52 grease, these bearings improve with use, maintaining smooth operation and resisting washout by adhering to the balls and continuously returning to the contact path.
These bearings stand out because they improve with use, unlike others. As they break in, the balls polish the races, making them smoother over time. While many ceramic-hybrid bearings offer speed and power benefits initially, Enduro XD-15 bearings not only deliver those advantages from day one but also become faster and smoother with continued use. In contrast, competing ceramic-hybrid bearings tend to slow down. These bearings are commonly used as upgrade replacements for BB30 and BB386 cranksets with 30mm spindles.
