This specially engineered bearing enables direct installation of SRAM DUB cranks into BB86/92 frames. Due to the BB86/92 shell’s 41mm inner diameter constraint, a tailored design is essential to fit the 29mm SRAM spindle. By employing flanged double-row bearings pressed into the shell, the contact area is maximized with twice the number of balls per side, ensuring durability in a compact space. Constructed with 440C stainless steel races and balls at 90% fill, and lubricated with high-pressure, waterproof grease, these bearings deliver reliable, long-lasting performance.

Enduro utilizes 440C stainless steel for both balls and races, ensuring exceptional durability and corrosion resistance in challenging environments. This high-carbon alloy offers the greatest strength, hardness, and wear resistance among 440-series stainless steels, achieved through multiple heat and cryogenic treatments. While stainless steel has about 20% lower load capacity and is slightly softer than the 52100 chromium steel commonly used in our bearings, it excels in wet conditions, frequent bike washing, or exposure to sweat. This bearing is specifically engineered for BB86/92 frames and SRAM DUB cranksets.
