This innovative bearing kit removes the need for an external headset bearing cup, providing a compact, low-profile solution where the bearing presses directly into the head tube. The kit includes a fork crown race, upper split-ring, and cap for complete installation.
The bearings feature anti-corrosion Black Oxide/Magnetite coated 52100 high-carbon chromium steel races paired with Grade 10 balls, and dual-lip labyrinth (LLB) seals to keep out dirt and moisture while retaining the 90% fill of Mobil XHP 222 high-pressure, waterproof synthetic grease. The Black Oxide coating adds an extra layer of corrosion resistance for extended, worry-free performance.
Enduro’s headset bearing lineup starts with chromium steel, Black Oxide finish Angular Contact (A/C) bearings and progresses to full 440C stainless steel at the top tier. All bearings are engineered with the largest balls possible and dual-lip seals riding in a micro-groove to create a full labyrinth, offering superior protection against sweat and the elements. Enduro Angular Contact bearings engage all balls evenly, spreading forces over a larger surface area to minimize wear and maximize performance.
