This innovative bearing kit eliminates the need for an external headset bearing cup, providing a low-profile solution where the bearing presses directly into the head tube. The kit includes a fork crown race, upper split-ring, and cap for a complete installation.
Not all stainless steel is created equal.
Enduro exclusively uses 440C stainless steel balls and races to ensure long life and superior corrosion resistance, even in challenging conditions. 440C offers the highest strength, hardness, and wear resistance among standard 440-series high-carbon stainless alloys. While it has about 20% less load capacity and is slightly softer than Enduro’s standard 52100 chromium steel, 440C is ideal for wet environments, frequent bike washing, or areas exposed to sweat. These headset bearings also feature LLB-type seals and CRC Marine Grease for additional waterproofing and protection against the elements.
Enduro’s headset bearing range begins with chromium steel, Black Oxide finish Angular Contact (A/C) bearings, and progresses to full 440C stainless steel at the top tier. All bearings are engineered with the largest possible balls and dual-lip seals riding in a micro-groove to form a full labyrinth, offering maximum protection against sweat and moisture. Enduro Angular Contact bearings engage all balls evenly to distribute force over a larger surface area, reducing wear and maximizing performance.
