Enduro's MAXhit represents a cutting-edge advancement where the bearing itself serves as the key component. These headset bearings are engineered to fit directly into your bike’s headtube, removing the conventional aluminum cups that typically house the bearings. This innovative approach allows for larger bearing balls, significantly increasing load capacity—more than twice that of standard headset bearings. The kit comes complete with a fork crown race, an upper split-ring, and an upper bearing cap for a comprehensive upgrade.
Enduro’s headset bearings start with chromium steel featuring a Black Oxide finish for the A/C type, progressing to premium full 440C stainless steel at the highest level. Designed with the largest possible balls and dual lip seals seated in a micro-groove, they provide exceptional protection against moisture and contaminants. Filled to 90% with high-pressure waterproof grease, these bearings eliminate any uncertainty about lubrication. The Angular Contact (A/C) design ensures all balls engage simultaneously, distributing forces evenly to reduce wear and enhance durability.
