This angular-contact bearing is commonly used as a hub bearing and can also function as a pivot bearing, though the MAX-type version is better suited for high-load suspension applications. It features deep-groove races, Grade 10 balls, dual-lip labyrinth (LLB) seals, and 90% fill of Mobilux NGLI 2 high-pressure waterproof synthetic grease, providing reliable protection against wear, dirt, and the elements. When installed with the black seal facing inward and properly adjusted, Enduro Angular Contact (A/C) bearings engage all balls simultaneously, spreading forces over a larger surface area to minimize wear and maximize bearing life.
Enduro bearings are available in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless balls. All bearings are engineered with the deepest groove races possible to fit the largest balls, and feature dual-lip seals riding in a micro-groove to create a full labyrinth for superior protection and extended performance.
