This specific radial bearing includes 440C stainless steel alloy races, Grade 10 balls, dual-seals, and 90% fill. It is also coated with Mobil XHP 222 high pressure waterproof grease, making it durable against daily wear and tear and exposure to the elements.

Enduro exclusively utilizes 440C stainless steel balls and races, ensuring exceptional longevity and resistance to corrosion in even the most challenging applications and environments. 440C is renowned for its unparalleled strength, hardness, and wear resistance among the standard 440-series stainless steel alloys with high carbon content. Due to its superior mechanical properties, it is also the most expensive of the 440 series and requires multiple rounds of heat treatment and cryogenic treatment. While stainless steel may have a 20% lower load capacity and slightly softer than our standard 52100 chromium steel, which is used in most bearings, it proves to be a superb alternative for use in wet conditions, frequent bike washings, or areas where sweat may pose a problem.
The ENDURO series offers a selection of high-quality bearings made from different materials, such as high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless balls. These bearings are expertly designed with deep groove races to accommodate large balls and include dual-lip seals that fit into a micro-groove, forming a complete labyrinth for maximum protection against the elements.
