This radial bearing is built with 440C stainless steel races and precision Grade 10 balls. It features dual seals and is packed to 90% capacity with Klüber NBU52—an ultra-smooth, tacky, waterproof grease—so it can handle everyday wear and harsh weather conditions.

It’s commonly used in chain tensioners and as a pivot bearing. However, for suspension applications, the MAX-type version of this bearing is generally a better choice. Some suspension systems use custom variations of this size with extended or flanged races, so be sure to confirm compatibility before purchasing.

Not all stainless steel is created equal.

Enduro uses only 440C stainless steel for both balls and races to ensure extended service life and exceptional corrosion resistance, even in demanding environments. Among the 440-series stainless alloys, 440C offers the greatest strength, hardness, and wear resistance due to its high carbon content. It is also the most costly in the series and undergoes multiple heat treatments plus cryogenic processing to achieve its superior mechanical characteristics. While stainless steel has about 20% less load capacity and is slightly softer than the 52100 chromium steel used in most standard bearings, it is an excellent option for wet conditions, frequent bike washing, or exposure to sweat.

All Enduro stainless bearings are backed by a full two-year anti-corrosion warranty.

The Enduro bearing range includes options in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic hybrid, and XD-15 with either ceramic or stainless balls. Each bearing is designed with the deepest possible race grooves to accommodate larger balls, along with dual-lip seals seated in a micro-groove to form a full labyrinth seal for maximum protection against dirt, moisture, and debris.
