The ENDURO S6804 LLB SS RADIAL BRNG (C3) HUB is a versatile and durable bearing that can be used in hubs and as a pivot bearing, making it a reliable choice for various applications. With its MAX-type version, it is specifically designed for suspension use, ensuring smooth movement and optimal performance.
Not all stainless steel is created equal.
Enduro specifically utilizes 440C stainless steel materials, including balls and races, to offer exceptional longevity and unmatched protection against corrosion, even in less-than-ideal environments or applications. Notably, 440C boasts the highest level of strength, hardness, and wear resistance among all standard 440-series stainless alloys with elevated carbon content. However, it is also the priciest of these alloys and necessitates multiple stages of heat and cryogenic treatment to attain its remarkable mechanical features. While stainless steel may have a 20% lower load capacity and be marginally softer than our standard 52100 chromium steel used in majority of our bearings, it serves as an exceptional substitute for damp conditions, frequent bike washings, or regions with high sweat levels.
Enduro's bearings are offered in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless balls. Our bearings are designed with deep groove races to fit larger balls and have dual-lip seals that run in a micro-groove, creating a full labyrinth for ultimate protection against the elements.
