This Bottom Bracket Bearing is constructed with 440C stainless steel alloy races and balls, filled to 90% with high-pressure, waterproof grease for enhanced durability and performance.
Not all stainless steel is created equal.
Enduro uses 440C stainless steel balls and races exclusively to deliver long-lasting performance and outstanding corrosion resistance in demanding conditions. This alloy, with its high carbon content, ranks highest in strength, hardness, and wear resistance among 440-series stainless steels. Achieving these enhanced mechanical properties involves multiple heat and cryogenic treatments. Although stainless steel bearings have roughly 20% less load capacity and are somewhat softer than the 52100 chromium steel typically used in our bearings, they are ideal for wet environments, frequent cleaning, or situations involving sweat exposure.
This bearing is primarily designed as a direct replacement for BB30 and PF30 bottom brackets, specifically compatible with SRAM DUB cranksets, ensuring seamless integration and reliable performance.
