These Extended Inner Race Radial Bottom Bracket bearings feature 440C stainless steel races and balls, filled to 90% with high-pressure, waterproof grease for exceptional corrosion resistance and long-lasting performance.
Not all stainless steel is created equal.
Enduro uses only 440C stainless steel for both balls and races to ensure superior durability and corrosion resistance, even in demanding conditions. With the highest strength, hardness, and wear resistance of all standard 440-series stainless alloys, 440C is a premium material that undergoes multiple heat-treatment and cryogenic cycles to achieve its mechanical properties. While slightly softer and offering about 20% less load capacity than 52100 chromium steel used in most standard bearings, 440C stainless steel is an excellent choice for wet conditions, frequent bike washing, or exposure to sweat.
This bearing is specifically designed as a drive-side replacement for External Cup bottom brackets on SRAM GXP cranksets.
