These Bottom Bracket bearings are built with 440C stainless steel races and balls, packed with 90% high-pressure, waterproof grease for maximum corrosion resistance and long-lasting performance.
Not all stainless steel is created equal.
Enduro exclusively uses 440C stainless steel for both balls and races to ensure extended life and superior corrosion resistance, even in demanding conditions. With the highest strength, hardness, and wear resistance among standard 440-series stainless alloys, 440C undergoes multiple heat-treatment and cryogenic cycles to achieve its exceptional mechanical properties. While slightly softer and offering approximately 20% less load capacity than 52100 chromium steel, 440C stainless is an excellent choice for wet environments, frequent bike washing, or exposure to sweat.
This bearing is most commonly used as a direct replacement for Shimano external cup bottom brackets with 24mm spindles.
