Fully waterproof, it performs reliably in mountainbike, cyclo-cross, road, and track environments. Apply to a clean, dry chain and work in thoroughly, then reapply after your first ride to establish the complete ceramic coating. As ceramic particles settle into the chain, they naturally displace accumulated grime—a temporary greying or darkening is normal and doesn't affect performance. Within 2-3 applications, this effect typically diminishes as the coating fully embeds.

- NOTE: As the white ceramic particles embed themselves, they will displace grime, causing the lubricating film to turn grey or black. Over time (2-3 applications) this phenomenon will lessen or cease.
- This discoloration is normal and will not compromise performance.
