Finish Line Chill Zone uses a specialized refrigerant formula that cools metal to -50°F/-45°C, causing thermal contraction that fractures rust bonds at a microscopic level. Once the metal shrinks, a potent penetrating agent infiltrates and dissolves corrosion, restoring seized components like chains, crank bolts, derailleur springs, and seat posts to working condition. The formula deposits a protective lubricant film and corrosion inhibitors upon application, eliminating the need for additional lubrication. Apply for 10-20 seconds, then allow 60-90 seconds for the release agent to fully penetrate and break the rust's grip. Ideal for restoring frozen or corroded bike components without disassembly.
