Fox engineered this inverted fork to fully optimize the industry-leading GRIP X2 damper, maximizing travel smoothness and delivering exceptional fore-aft stiffness in the chassis for enhanced rider confidence.

The Pinnacle Of Performance

To maximize damper performance, FOX engineers developed an innovative inverted chassis that minimizes friction under load. This unconventional design delivers exceptional damping sensitivity when paired with the acclaimed Grip X2 damper.

To enhance torsional rigidity, FOX upgraded the standard 15mm axle to a steel 20 x 110mm Boost DH axle, which more evenly distributes forces across the lower leg interface. Alongside 175mm of bushing overlap—32% greater than the 38 and 7% more than the FOX 40—Podium achieves exceptional chassis stiffness and minimized friction under demanding conditions.

The Harder You Push, The Smoother The Ride

The Podium’s GlideCore air spring offers exceptional smoothness by incorporating lateral and axial compliance, enabling the spring to flex with the fork under heavy loads. This design reduces binding and stiction, resulting in enhanced small bump sensitivity, a smoother ride, and improved control on challenging terrain.

The inverted design decreases the gap between the lower fork bushing and the axle during compression, reducing leverage on the bushing. This minimizes friction precisely when riders demand it most—pushing aggressively through deep travel on technical terrain.

Custom-Tuned GRIP X2 Damper

Podium features a precisely tuned GRIP X2 damper, renowned for its four-way adjustability and race-tested performance. Its damping curve combines increased compression damping to complement the fork’s reduced friction with a slightly softened rebound to optimize lower unsprung mass, making it ideal for aggressive descents, enduro racing, and eMTB challenges.
