The DHX has long been the benchmark coil shock for riders who chase traction above all — and now Live Valve Neo gives that supple, plush coil feel a brain. The Controller opens or firms the compression circuit based on real-time trail data in 1/70th of a second, eliminating the only weakness coils have ever carried: efficiency loss under pedalling and pumping.

For MY27, the DHX gets an updated high-flow main piston assembly that pushes its damping character closer to the DHX2, delivering more advanced damping and improved trail performance without compromising the legendary coil feel.

A size-specific piggyback reservoir increases oil volume for enhanced bump sensitivity, greater tyre grip, and fade-free performance over long descents — exactly what coil shocks do best, now matched with smart electronic damping control.

How Live Valve Neo Works

The Controller adjusts compression damping in 1/70th of a second — fully open and active when you want grip, instant firmness when you stand up to pedal, pump a roller, or boost a lip.
