Fox Factory FLOAT X Live Valve Neo Trunnion Rear Shock 2027

The FOX FLOAT X Live Valve Neo brings wireless electronic suspension control to one of the most respected trail and all-mountain rear shocks on the market. Combining the FLOAT X's fade-free performance and class-leading durability with FOX's Live Valve Neo wireless platform, the Controller opens or firms the compression circuit based on real-time trail data in 1/70th of a second — keeping the shock supple where you want grip, and firm where you want efficiency. The result is a shock that adapts to the trail before you even react.

For MY27, the FLOAT X gets a new high-flow main piston assembly that pushes its damping character closer to the MY26 FLOAT X2, delivering more sensitivity, mid-stroke support, and rear-tyre traction.

How Live Valve Neo Works

Live Valve Neo reads terrain inputs 400 times per second through onboard sensors, with the Controller responding in 1/70th of a second to firm the shock for pumps, pedalling, and big hits — then snap it back open over chatter and chunk. The whole system runs wireless on a rechargeable battery shared across the Neo product family.
