What is Neo?

Riders are seeking faster actuation of their dropper posts with minimal force to the lever, allowing them to micro-adjust saddle height as needed on any terrain. To make Transfer Neo’s actuation feel instantaneous, we needed a signal to reach the dropper at a speed faster than any wireless protocol that was already in-market. For this reason, we made Neo. Neo opened the door to FOX creating the best wireless dropper post in the industry, but it needed to do more than what riders already expected – a cleaner cockpit, easy installation and a short lever throw. Every element of Transfer Neo was critically designed, tested and improved through our Racing Applications and Development (RAD) program:

STRATEGIC BATTERY PLACEMENT

Eliminate wireless dropper tire clearance issues by placing Transfer Neo's battery and controller at the bottom of the post, allowing for full insertion even during bottom out events. Other wireless dropper posts typically require a higher stack height and saddle height to maintain recommended clearance. The unique design of Transfer Neo also provides a 200mm drop option for taller riders looking for a confidence-inspiring descending position.

ERGONOMIC LEVER

The Transfer Neo lever has a rubber-coated thumb pad for a familiar feeling, with a shorter throw and haptic feedback for ergonomic actuation, all in a sleek and low profile design. It sits just 36mm below the handlebar, avoiding contact with the top tube.

APP OPTIMIZED

The FOX Bike app supports Transfer Neo and offers firmware updates and features such as Bike Park Mode and Transport Mode. Bike Park Mode prevents accidental seat post extension while riding downhill and can be quickly deactivated via the app or by pressing the lever four times. Transport Mode conserves battery power during transport and can be deactivated by dropping the bike or removing the battery. The app tracks and notifies you when your Transfer Neo needs servicing (approximately every 8,000 actuations). It also displays service pricing and allows you to create a service request or find nearby service locations.
