TPU tubes combine the advantages of tubeless setups—such as reduced wheel weight and enhanced road feedback—with the ease of traditional tubes. They also allow for more compact roadside repair kits. However, electric bike pumps produce heat that may harm plastic valve stems, and the smooth surface of these stems can complicate pump attachment.
