Expertly designed with a flat bar, the Genesis Croix de Fer 20 Adventure Bike offers increased maneuverability and a more upright riding position. Constructed from Chromoly steel tubing, this bike shares all the same features as our original go-anywhere model. Additionally, the Croix de Fer flat bar allows for increased versatility, with the ability to run up to a 45mm rear tyre and 50mm front tyre on the included 700c rims. For those looking to experiment with 650B wheels, the bike can accommodate a 44mm rear tyre and 50mm front tyre.
Equipped with standard QR dropouts, your 9mm wheelsets can continue to rotate for several more years. But that's not all - the drivetrain has been enhanced with Shimano's top-notch GRX components: a 46/30T double chainset, an 11-34T cassette, and reliable RX400 derailleurs for seamless shifting. To ensure safe and efficient braking, Shimano's MT200 hydraulic disc brakes are also included. In addition, there is a third bottle mount, as well as rack and guard mounts, and fixings for Anything Cages on the forks to complete this comprehensive package.
