While many bike wheel brands quickly introduced full-carbon clinchers with carbon rim brake tracks, HED took a more calculated approach. At HED Cycling, we prioritize materials that are best suited for the specific riding discipline, regardless of whether that be on road or off road. Our goal is to create highly efficient and dependable products.
The Jet RC Plus and Jet RC Black rim brake wheels are surpassing our competitors' full-carbon rim brake wheels in terms of aerodynamics, comfort, safety, and weight. Our introduction of the full-carbon clinchers, the Vanquish RC Pro Series, was executed with meticulous precision and skilled artistry. This disc brake masterpiece holds the patent for the most aerodynamic bike wheel globally.
The HED R&D team made a vow from the beginning: if our full-carbon rim brake wheel couldn't surpass the performance of our renowned Jet wheel series, we wouldn't release it to the market. It had to be lightweight and agile, surpassing any of our previous creations. Safety and dependability were also key factors. Given that some other full-carbon rim brake wheels on the market can distort and potentially experience blowouts with prolonged braking, we integrated alloy brake tracks in our Jet series and implemented top-of-the-line disc braking technology in our full-carbon wheels.
