This bike rack has a capacity of four bikes, with a maximum weight limit of 50 lbs per bike. It is compatible with 2" hitch sizes only and should not be used with a 1 ¼" -2" hitch adapter. It can be configured as either a 2 bike or 4 bike rack. The maximum wheelbase for bikes is 60" (with the option to use a 72" long wheelbase kit), and the maximum tire width is 3". The rack comes with a keyed-alike locking hitch pin, 8' security cable, and locking frame hooks. With its patented "No-Wobble Hitch System," this rack eliminates slack between the receiver and the rack without the need for tools.
This bike platform-style rack from Hollywood Racks, the HW0005 Sport Rider - SE 4, is designed to fold flat against the car for convenient storage. It also features a tilting mechanism for easy access to the cargo door. With the addition of a red safety strap, the bikes can now be securely fastened to the central post and to each other. This rack has a weight of 91.49 lbs and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. Please note that it is not suitable for use on front hitches or on any trailer, fifth wheel, or towed vehicle.
