It features a 65% thicker axle redesigned for superior stress distribution, larger 6903 bearings for improved performance, and a new labyrinth channel combined with a full-contact radial lip seal that protects bearings from contaminants, significantly reducing wear and extending hub life.
This redesigned hub guarantees consistent bearing preload regardless of axle tightness variations. It features larger 5.5mm pawl pockets that reduce force by 26%, preventing long-term stretching and wear. The drivering is constructed from stronger metal and includes an additional tooth on each pawl, ensuring the Hydra2 effortlessly withstands the high torque of powerful e-bike motors. This results in a hub built to endure the toughest demands of the most rigorous riders.
